Double Take: Before & After Nightstand

A few months ago, I purchased this nightstand to put in the girl’s room that we’re designing. I really liked the shape, the chunky legs, and detailed drawer. But the nightstand needed a makeover to fit with the rest of the room.

With both of us working full time jobs, it’s sometimes impossible to fit projects into our busy schedule. I’m not even sure how we’ve managed to complete anything! Anyway here’s the new nightstand.

Before & After White Nightstand

It’s amazing what a coat of white paint can do for a piece of furniture isn’t it?

I’m not sure if we should put paper on all sides because it’ll most likely be covered by decorative accessories. Look at those cute legs!

Here’s a closer look at the detail on the drawer front. I think it really makes the nightstand what it is. We added paper to the inside drawer to complement the dresser. I’ll match up the seams a little better for the finalized look.
