Today I was off from work because the power was still out from Hurricane Irene. So instead of just spending the day resting, I decided to finish up some painting projects. The first project on my list was to paint a desk for a girl’s bedroom. Here is the before:
While I like the simple white desk, we felt strongly that her room needed a bold color to go with the pink striped headboard. And because I’m too impatient to wait for daylight to take a styled (a.k.a: throw some stuff on the desk) shot…here is the after.
I really hate nighttime interior photos because of the glaring flourescent light, but I was too anxious to get this post up. Here is what it looks likes in the daylight un-styled.
The paint color is Sherwin Williams Synergy in Satin Finish. I’ll be back tomorrow, with new beautiful daylight photos because you deserve them!
Update: Desk with daylight photos
