A few weeks ago we received an email from Cutting Edge Stencils to host a giveaway for our lovely readers. Of course we were ecstatic and I was all set to do the giveaway and choose a stencil for us to try out and then bam two weeks of sickness hit us like a ton of bricks! I haven’t even decided on a stencil yet because there are so many I like and having a twin that thinks exactly like you most of the time doesn’t really help narrow the choices. Maybe we should allow Breeze to choose.
Stencils are great because they are versatile, especially if you don’t want to fully commit to wallpaper. If you’re still not convinced…here are some great examples of stencil work in blogland.

Kammy’s Korner used the Allover Oasis on her clawfoot bathtub! She did an amazing job! Here’s the same stencil used on a bedroom accent wall. How do you think this would look in my room behind my bed to go with my black, white and teal color palette, the other main pattern being black and white stripes.
Stacy over at Not Just a Housewife stenciled her entire ceiling in her bedroom in a lovely Anna damask pattern and I must say it is fabulous!

Damask not your style? Maybe you like geometric patterns more like this Aladdin stencil.

Or maybe this Moroccan style trellis pattern Marrakech Trellis. This also wouldn’t look to bad paired with black and white canopy stripes.

Whichever type of stencil suits your fancy the possibilities are endless! That’s why today is your lucky day!
The lovely people over at Cutting Edge Stencils would like to offer one Design Par Deux reader a $50 gift certificate (including free domestic shipping) to use in their online store.
you have 4 great chances to win! (Be sure to leave a separate comment for each one!)

And if you don’t mind, help us pick a stencil to try out

Hoping to win so that I can paint “Connection” in my mid-century hallway. I’m trying to emulate Jeff Lewis’ (Flipping Out) wallpaper from the show with slate grey background and white squares.
