A year ago I bought this chair from an estate sale for $20. It was one of many chairs in my chair addiction collection. If it was cute, I’d buy it! Plain and simple. And this chair was cute! I loved the curvy legs and back. I did not love the existing look however.

Fast forward to the present and this chair has finally received the much deserved makeover.

Isn’t she pretty? I gave her a coat of Gloss White by Rustoleum and upholstered the seat in “Campbell” by Duralee Fabrics. I added double-welt piping for the perfect touch. In case you’ve missed it I wrote up a tutorial explaining my sewing process on double-welt piping.

I love the large-scale pink floral design on the fabric. And I hope the lovely recipient of this chair loves it just as much. It’ll make a nice home in a girl’s room. We’re hoping to have that room finished in the next few months even though we have yet to start the project. Yikes! But we have been working diligently from home as you all can see. Most of the pieces for her room are being furnished by things I’ve had in my possession for a year…which speaks volumes about my thrifting obsession.

I’m linking up at these parties.
