Sisterly Love: From Milla to Me, Merry Christmas!

With Christmas just around the corner, it is not surprising that I haven’t done any Christmas shopping yet. I didn’t expect the month of December to fly by so quickly :( . I have a few people on my list. Breeze is most likely expecting a can of tuna. I’m not sure what I want to get Milla though. I’ll probably allow her to pick something out and I’ll pay for it…like she did for me!

If you remember my moodboard from last Friday, I was on the search for some teal pillows after not being able to find fuchsia pillows.  Here’s what my bed looked like without the teal pillows.

And here’s what it looks like now with the purchase of teal pillows. Thanks Milla! She’s a great gal. I (Milla) purchased the velvet pillows from Pier 1 on sale. Their pillows are currently 20% off, so instead of paying $29.99, she paid about $24 for each and it comes with a down feather insert.

I couldn’t find the exact pillows I bought on the Pier 1 website, I’m guessing they are out of stock. In fact we had to travel to another location to buy the 2nd pillow. Oh and the black and white stripe pillows were made by me with leftover striped fabric from my chair makeover.

However, Pier 1 does have a similar pillow online in a darker shade for $19.95. In person that pillow is not as shiny as the one in my room and it is stuffed with regular polyfil I believe instead of feathers. I also put up the oval mirror that I painted black. I purchased it from an estate sale for $20. It looks like I may have to move it to the left a little right? Once I purchase a colorful pillow. I think the bed will be complete!

I’ve decided to add some animal print into my room, by hanging this black and white zebra print dress on the wall. I think it makes this insignificant wall space pop!
