Double Take: Antique Windsor Chair Makeover Before & After

Happy Wednesday everyone! Only 2 more days until the weekend! I know I can’t wait. I find that Milla and I more productive on the weekends especially when we don’t have other people’s kids over. This weekend we have plans to put the finishing touches on the girl’s room and start the boy’s room since it is in the same apartment. We found this chair at the local Goodwill for $6 I think.
wood chair
This chair looks amazing in the picture as is. But there were some deep dents in the seat area that needed to be repaired and the natural wood tone didn’t go with the other intended items for the girl’s bedroom. So we painted it white and here is the after!

Isn’t it pretty? I’m really liking the spindle legs and the detailed curved back. If anyone knows the style and design period of this chair please let me know.

Look at that glossy shine! This chair will be a great complement to the turquoise desk. Breeze loved it so much that he wanted his own impromptu photoshoot.
